Assessing Strengths and Limitations of Magnetoencephalography Source Imaging With Intracerebral EEG
Simultaneous MEG and stereotactic EEG (SEEG) recordings provide a direct validation framework for MEG source imaging in focal epilepsy. Virtual SEEG signals derived from MEG reconstructions reveal significant agreement with intracranial measures of spike localization, resting‐state oscillations, and functional connectivity, while also identifying ...

RHINO: An Integrative Multi‐Omics Framework Linking Circadian Physiology to Precision Medicine
RHINO (RHythmic Interacting Network for multi‐Omics) is an integrative framework that maps circadian regulation across diverse genetic and disease contexts and prioritizes druggable circadian targets. Released as an AI‐powered interactive web portal, RHINO unifies genetic, regulatory, disease, and drug–target information, enabling context‐specific ...

Depression is increasingly recognized as a risk factor for chronic diseases, yet its biological impact on cancer remains unclear. Using data from more than 490 000 participants across three international cohorts, we show that depression significantly increases the risk of liver cancer.

A nebulized nanoassembly alleviates radiation‐induced lung injury by reprogramming macrophages through coordinated ROS scavenging, NAD+ replenishment, and PPAR‐γ activation. Redox balance, mitochondrial homeostasis, and immune regulation are restored, revealing a microenvironment‐centered strategy for localized radioprotection.

A serum‐free, air–liquid interface organotypic slice culture model preserves human post‐mortem corpus callosum tissue, successfully recovering from slicing trauma to reflect the donor's underlying disease state. Pairing label‐free Coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy with k‐means clustering enables objective, high‐resolution ...

Dormancy and dormancy release in white-grained wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
Planta, 2021Dormancy in white-grained wheat is conditioned by the cumulative effects of several QTL that delay the onset of the capacity to germinate during ripening and after-ripening. Grain dormancy at harvest-ripeness is a major component of resistance to preharvest sprouting in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and an important trait in regions where rain is common

In natural conditions one or more of the following factors may operate to convert a seed from the dormant to the non-dormant (i.e. germinable) state: (a) light, (b) temperature, (c) ageing, (d) changes in the covering structures. In the following account we will discuss these factors in detail.

Wet heat as a mechanism for dormancy release and germination of seeds with physical dormancy
Weed Science, 2005Mexican palo-verde is a serious woody weed in tropical parts of the world. Like many such leguminous species, it has relatively large seeds with hard-seeded (physical) dormancy. It therefore has the potential for long-lived seed banks that are difficult to manage.
