Analysis of Resonant Tunneling for Parabolic Double Barrier Structure
In this paper the resonant tunneling through the double barrier structure with the parabolic quantum well is studied theoretically. The transmission coefficient for such a structure as a function of applied voltage and the current-voltage characteristics

Real time quantum tunneling through a double square barrier
The propagator of a one-dimensional double square barrier is obtained analytically in terms of the relevant eigenfunctions. With the aid of the propagator the wavefunction evolution for a particle, initially in a state of wave packet, located on the ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

A new type of photoelectric response in a double barrier structure with a wide quantum well
We have calculated the photoelectric response in a specially designed double barrier structure. It has been verilied that a transfer of the internal photovoltaic effect in the quantum well to the tunnelling transport through above-barrier quasibound ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Viruses Challenge Selectivity Barrier of Nuclear Pores
Exchange between the nucleus and the cytoplasm occurs through nuclear pore complexes (NPCs) embedded in the double membrane of the nuclear envelope. NPC permeability barrier restricts the entry of inert molecules larger than 5 nm in diameter but allows ...

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Pricing Double Barrier Options by Combinatorial Approaches [PDF]
Double barrier options are important path-dependent derivatives in the financial market. How to price them efficiently and accurately is thus important. Until now, no simple closed-form pricing formula for double barrier options is reported. Double barrier options can be priced on a lattice that divides a certain time interval (from option initial date

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for
