Critical Role of IL1R2‐ENO1 Interaction in Inhibiting Glycolysis‐Mediated Pyroptosis for Protection Against Lethal Sepsis

The authors have discovered that intracellular interleukin 1 receptor 2 (IL1R2) negatively regulates pyroptosis and inflammation by inhibiting glycolysis in sepsis. Employing snRNA‐seq post‐MCAO‐induced retinal ischemia (RI), this study revealed a novel Hmga2‐high Müller cell subpopulation. Hmga2 knockout alleviated neuroinflammation and RI symptoms, potentially by binding PI3K and regulating Müller cell autophagy.
