mKdV Equation on Time Scales: Darboux Transformation and N-Soliton Solutions

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, the spectral problem of the mKdV equation satisfying the compatibility condition on time scales is directly constructed. By using the zero-curvature equation on time scales, the mKdV equation on time scales is obtained.

Double-Exponential Fast Gauss Transform Algorithms for Pricing Discrete Lookback Options

open access: yesPublications of the Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, 2005
This paper presents fast and accurate algorithms for computing the prices of discretely sampled lookback options. Under the Black–Scholes framework, the pricing of a discrete lookback option can be reduced to a series of convolutions of a function with the Gaussian distribution.

Entropy Measures as Geometrical Tools in the Study of Cosmology

open access: yesEntropy, 2017
Classical chaos is often characterized as exponential divergence of nearby trajectories. In many interesting cases these trajectories can be identified with geodesic curves.

DOSE ASSESSMENT FOR INTAKE OF TRITIATED WATER IN HUMANS: ROLE OF TRITIUM INCORPORATION IN ORGANIC MATTER

open access: yesРадиационная гигиена, 2017
Tritium is one of the factors of internal exposure of the humans both in occupational and public environments. It enters the body mainly as tritiated water through inhalation, with food, drinks and through the skin; part of tritium gradually transforms ...

Highly efficient hypothesis testing methods for regression-type tests with correlated observations and heterogeneous variance structure

open access: yesBMC Bioinformatics, 2019
Background For many practical hypothesis testing (H-T) applications, the data are correlated and/or with heterogeneous variance structure. The regression t-test for weighted linear mixed-effects regression (LMER) is a legitimate choice because it ...

Solitonic wave solutions of a Hamiltonian nonlinear atom chain model through the Hirota bilinear transformation method

open access: yesOpen Physics
This study employs the Hirota bilinear transformation method to investigate solitary and soliton solutions resulting from different symmetry wave functions associated with nonlinear atom chain models. These models are complex dynamic systems that have an

Intercept Probability Constrained Robust Secure Beamforming Algorithm for Double‑Layer Satellite Networks

open access: yesShuju Caiji Yu Chuli
For the physical layer security communication scenario in double-layer satellite networks consisting of geostationary earth orbit (GEO) satellite and low earth orbit (LEO) satellite cluster, we propose a robust secure beamforming (BF) algorithm based on ...

Analysis of a ( 2 + 1 ) $(2 + 1)$ -dimensional fractal KP model: solitons, geometric embedding, and parameter estimation via deep learning

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
This paper presents fractal-modified ( 2 + 1 ) $(2 + 1)$ -dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (KP) model for describing long waves in fractal dispersive media, based on He’s ( H $\mathfrak{H}$ ) fractal derivative.

Gaussian Filtering Using a Spherical-Radial Double Exponential Cubature

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing
Gaussian filters use quadrature rules or cubature rules to recursively solve Gaussian-weighted integrals. Classical and contemporary methods use stable rules with a minimal number of cubature points to achieve the highest accuracy. Gaussian quadrature is
