Convolution Algebras of Double Groupoids and Strict 2-Groups [PDF]
Double groupoids are a type of higher groupoid structure that can arise when one has two distinct groupoid products on the same set of arrows. A particularly important example of such structures is the irrational torus and, more generally, strict 2-groups. Groupoid structures give rise to convolution operations on the space of arrows.

OD (order-disorder) interpretation and diffuse scattering analysis of an organic polytype with allotwin character: a detailed how-to. [PDF]
The complex stacking disorder of 2,3‐dihydroxy‐1,3,4‐trimethyl‐6‐oxo‐1,4‐cyclohexadiene‐1‐carboxylic is analyzed by applying the order–disorder theory and its diffuse scattering is interpreted using a growth model.2,3‐Dihydroxy‐1,3,4‐trimethyl‐6‐oxo‐1,4‐cyclohexadiene‐1‐carboxylic acid crystallizes in an order–disorder (OD) structure with a high ...

An Index for Graphs and Graph Groupoids
In this paper, we consider certain quantities that arise in the images of the so-called graph-tree indexes of graph groupoids. In text, the graph groupoids are induced by connected finite-directed graphs with more than one vertex.

Banach Limit and Ulam Stability of Nonhomogeneous Cauchy Equation
We prove new results on Ulam stability of the nonhomogeneous Cauchy functional equation f(x+y)=f(x)+f(y)+d(x,y) in the class of mappings f from a square symmetric groupoid (H,+) into the set of reals R.

Q-groupoids and their cohomology [PDF]
We approach Mackenzie's LA-groupoids from a supergeometric point of view by introducing Q-groupoids, which are groupoid objects in the category of Q-manifolds.

Holonomy and monodromy groupoids [PDF]
We outline the construction of the holonomy groupoid of a locally Lie groupoid and the monodromy groupoid of a Lie groupoid. These specialise to the well known holonomy and monodromy groupoids of a foliation, when the groupoid is just an equivalence ...

Segal-type algebraic models of n-types [PDF]
For each n\geq 1 we introduce two new Segal-type models of n-types of topological spaces: weakly globular n-fold groupoids, and a lax version of these.

Three themes in the work of Charles Ehresmann: Local-to-global; Groupoids; Higher dimensions [PDF]
This paper illustrates the themes of the title in terms of: van Kampen type theorems for the fundamental groupoid; holonomy and monodromy groupoids; and higher homotopy groupoids.

The transverse index theorem for proper cocompact actions of Lie groupoids [PDF]
Given a proper, cocompact action of a Lie groupoid, we define a higher index pairing between invariant elliptic differential operators and smooth groupoid cohomology classes. We prove a cohomological index formula for this pairing by applying the van Est
