THE DISTRIBUTION OF DOWN'S SYNDROME*
Journal of Intellectual Disability Research, 1982A recent increase in the incidence of Down's syndrome has been found, mainly affecting young mothers. It is concluded that this increase is due to the environment, and an association with the contraceptive pill is sought. The cause of non-disjunction is discussed and the probability of prevention suggested.
