Bone cancer pain and depression share a common origin: astrocytic A2‐to‐A1 transition in the posterior piriform cortex. This phenotypic shift disrupts the ATP–adenosine–A2AR–norepinephrine axis, simultaneously driving nociceptive and affective dysfunction.

Inhibitory Decay and Supercritical Brain Dynamics During Sleep Deprivation
Sleep deprivation progressively shifts human brain dynamics from near‐critical toward supercritical states, as revealed by neuronal avalanche analysis of resting‐state fMRI. These changes track subjective sleep pressure rather than vigilance lapses and show marked network heterogeneity. A circuit model suggests that reduced inhibitory efficacy provides

A Lightweight Terrain‐Constraint Model for Wind Spatial Downscaling
High‐resolution wind fields has always been the goal of refined meteorological forecasting. Using advanced deep learning algorithms for wind downscaling is an effective approach to achieve this goal. However, the lack of physical process understanding in

On the Use of Reanalysis Data for Downscaling [PDF]
Abstract In this study, a worldwide overview on the expected sensitivity of downscaling studies to reanalysis choice is provided. To this end, the similarity of middle-tropospheric variables—which are important for the development of both dynamical and statistical downscaling schemes—from 40-yr European Centre for Medium-Range Weather ...

Two‐dimensional CuInP2S6 nanosheets are incorporated into a P(VDF‐TrFE) matrix to induce polarization‐cooperative ferroelectric coupling. The resulting P(VDF‐TrFE)/CuInP2S6 hybrid film exhibits reinforced ferroelectric ordering and reduced coercive electric fields compared with pristine P(VDF‐TrFE).

Performance evaluation of artificial neural networks in statistical downscaling of monthly precipitation (Case study: Minab watershed) [PDF]
Assessment of the impacts of climate change on water resources has been obtainedsignificant attentions in the past decade. This paper assesses the climate change impacts onprecipitation in the Minab basin, in the Hormozgan province in Iran.
