An Efficient DP-SGD Mechanism for Large Scale NLU Models

IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2021
Recent advances in deep learning have drastically improved performance on many Natural Language Understanding (NLU) tasks. However, the data used to train NLU models may contain private information such as addresses or phone numbers, particularly when ...

Performance of DP-QDQ compared with DP-16QAM, DP-64QAM and DP-256QAM

SPIE Proceedings, 2016
DP-QDQ is a partial-response shaping modulation based on 16QAM, which has been proposed in our previous research paper. In this paper, the power spectral density (PSD) of the DP-QDQ signal is analyzed and compared with DP-16QAM, DP-64QAM, and DP-256QAM signals, and the simulation setup is presented.

DP-Ethernet: the Profibus DP protocol implemented on Ethernet [PDF]

open access: possibleComputer Communications, 2003
The use of Ethernet networks at the low level of factory automation systems, which is even more frequent, requires the adoption of real time protocols to implement the typical functions of this level. This paper investigates the possibility of using of a very popular fieldbus protocol, Profibus DP, as a real time protocol for Ethernet.

On the Chromatic Polynomial and Counting DP-Colorings

Advances in Applied Mathematics, 2019
The chromatic polynomial of a graph $G$, denoted $P(G,m)$, is equal to the number of proper $m$-colorings of $G$. The list color function of graph $G$, denoted $P_{\ell}(G,m)$, is a list analogue of the chromatic polynomial that has been studied since ...

Hybrid DP Simulations

Volume 6B: Ocean Engineering, 2020
Abstract Large offshore windfarm development has driven the need for next-generation simulators. These tools are of great utility in both analysis and design. Firstly, they offer the ability to combine advanced dynamic positioning and gangway simulation to evaluate operational safety limits across a large spectrum of weather conditions ...

Comparison of DPS and PS systems according to DPS weights

IEEE Communications Letters, 2006
In the discriminatory processor-sharing (DPS) system with a single processor and K job classes, all jobs present in the system are served simultaneously with rates controlled by a vector of weights {gj >0; j=1,middotmiddotmiddot, K}. When all gj is equal, the DPS system reduces to the egalitarian processor-sharing (PS) system. In this paper we show how
