Effects of DP steel microstructure on the disappearance of discontinuous yielding
Although in terms of quality is not as high as TRIP steel, DP steel has been developed as an option to meet the minimum standard industrial requirement for automotive. Steel development for automotive material leads to posses high strength without suffering its ductility and weld ability, in addition there is no appearance of discontinuous yielding ...

The Influence of Martensite on Line Broadening in Neutron Diffraction Spectra of a DP Steel.
Neutron diffraction experiments were performed on dual-phase steels to determine the feasibility of measuring the martensite volume fraction through ferrite peak broadening. Mechanical properties were also investigated to determine if a correlation exists with ferrite peak broadening.

A robust plant protein adhesive was prepared by fabricating a bi‐continuous organic–inorganic hybrid structure. Compared with traditional organic–inorganic hybrid adhesives, the addition amount of inorganic phase is increased from 0.2%–3.0% to 50%, and the strength and toughness are increased by 6 and 121 times, respectively.

The ever-increasing demand for oil & gas exploration from land to subsea necessitates using higher-strength and high-ductility heavy-wall thickness pipes, which may increase the microstructural inhomogeneity along the steel plate sections, ultimately

We address the inherently weak particle adhesion of conventional air filters by coating a dynamically crosslinked adhesive layer that delivers capillarity‐driven strong adhesion and particle absorption mediated by dynamic bond exchange. The resulting enhancement in particle adhesion enables efficient ultrafast (up to 20 m s−1) and omnidirectional ...

A change in strain partitioning and microscale failure mechanisms in dual-phase (DP) steel was found when both the morphology and distribution of martensite were altered compared to a banded DP steel grade benchmarked against a specific commercial DP ...

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...
