Modeling of three-phase controlled rectifier using a DQ method

2010 International Conference on Advances in Energy Engineering, 2010
Power converter models are normally time-varying because of their switching behaviors. This paper presents the DQ modeling method to eliminate the switching action to achieve time-invariant model. The power system studied is the AC distribution system. The small-signal model of the power system is obtained by using a linearization technique.

DQ Transformation Based Control of Single-Phase Grid-Tied Inverter

2021 31st Australasian Universities Power Engineering Conference (AUPEC), 2021
Direct quadrature (DQ) synchronous reference frame transformation-based current controllers are utilized due to their superior performance, while they drive on dc quantities, attaining zero steady-state error, and are highly compatible for single-phase grid-tied inverters.

A control scheme in the dq reference frame for Hexverter-based systems

2019 North American Power Symposium (NAPS), 2019
A control approach developed in the α β0 reference frame must be able to track control signals which are sinusoidal functions of time. Therefore, designing these compensators is not a straightforward task. Alternatively, a control scheme elaborated in dq reference frame offers the possibility to track dc control signals.

Circulating current controller in dq reference frame for MMC based HVDC system

IECON 2016 - 42nd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2016
This paper presents a phase shifted triangular carrier pulse width modulation technique for control of modular multilevel converter (MMC) based HVDC system. This switching modulation technique has reduced average switching frequency when compared to conventional method where switching state changes in each sampling period or control cycle.

DQ controller for a grid-tied single-phase inverter with harmonics compensation

2020 IEEE ANDESCON, 2020
This article presents a DQ controller for regulating the output current of a grid-tied single-phase inverter. The controller is composed of several DQ controllers that regulate the fundamental component and the most relevant harmonics of the output current.

A Novel Hysteresis Current Control Scheme in Synchronous dq-Frame for PMSM

2019 22nd International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS), 2019
This paper proposes a novel hysteresis current control (HCC) scheme in synchronous dq-frame for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The space vector tables are conceived directly based on a first order approximation of the voltage equation in space format. Constant sampling and space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique are applied to

Control Loop Study of Induction Motor Drives Using DQ Model

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and Control Instrumentation, 1979
This paper presents a systematic study of the various control loops in a current source inverter-induction motor drive and their effects on the dynamic response and stability of the system. A dq model is developed which incorporated the induction motor and the inverter power supply with current feedback. The model is first used to generate steady-state

A DQ Synchronous Reference Frame Current Control for Single-Phase Converters

IEEE 36th Conference on Power Electronics Specialists, 2005., 2006
This paper presents a current control using the dq synchronous reference frame for single-phase converters. This control method consists in transforming an orthogonal pair composed by the actual single-phase input current and a fictitious current, from a stationary to a rotating frame.
