Electro‐Stimulated Graphene‐Polymer Nanocomposites Enable Wearable Patches With Feedback‐Controlled Drug Release

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
xx xx. ABSTRACT Stimuli‐responsive nanomaterials capable of spatiotemporal control over drug release are of nanocomposite patch (“e‐Medi‐Patch”) engineered from biodegradable polycaprolactone (PCL), graphene nanoplatelets, and a redox‐active therapeutic, niclosamide. The hierarchical composite integrates π‐π interactions between aromatic drug molecules

Assessment on drag force distribution of a semi-submersible truss fish cage in currents

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science
Assessing the current forces exerted on a semi-submersible truss fish cage is crucial for understanding drag force distribution and ensuring the structural safety.

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Pointlike probes of superstring-theoretic superfluids

open access: yes, 2009
In analogy with an experimental setup used in liquid helium, we use a pointlike probe to study superfluids which have a gravity dual. In the gravity description, the probe is represented by a hanging string.

A Soft Microrobot for Single‐Cell Transport, Spheroid Assembly, and Dual‐Mode Drug Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, untethered hydrogel microrobot enables precise single‐cell delivery, self‐assembly into 3D spheroids, and real‐time thermal actuation. Driven by light‐induced convection and embedded with gold nanorods and temperature sensors, the microrobot guides cells, modulates local microenvironments, and supports drug testing.

Drag force in a strongly coupled anisotropic plasma

open access: yes, 2012
We calculate the drag force experienced by an infinitely massive quark propagating at constant velocity through an anisotropic, strongly coupled N=4 plasma by means of its gravity dual.

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.

Numerical analysis of flow interference on flat-plate-modeled aerodynamic brakes for high-speed railways

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu
An aerodynamic brake is a device that is aimed for increasing air drag to obtain brake force by expanding plates. As proposed by Takami (2013), multiple plates are distributed on the train roof. In this arrangement, many devices are installed in the wake
