Self-interest, Social Wealth, and Competition as a Discovery Procedure [PDF]
In Economics, as in any social science, empirical tests of theoretical results face a problem: researchers are unable to reproduce the whole economy (or at least its relevant parts) in their laboratories.

Electrochromic polymer stability under overpotential is improved by inserting an ultrathin, transparent n‐doped poly(benzodifurandione) interlayer between indium tin oxide and a poly(3,4‐propylenedioxythiophene)‐based electrochromic polymer. The interlayer supports rapid switching at operating bias, then becomes resistive near +0.8 V to suppress excess

Bio‐Inspired Multimodal Hardware Front‐End Enabled by 2D Floating‐Gate Memory for UAV Perception
A MoS2/h‐BN /graphene floating‐gate memory underpins a bio‐inspired multimodal front end that integrates visual, inertial, and airflow cues. A 4 × 4 FG memory array encodes temporal intensity differences, while IMU‐ and airflow‐driven threshold modulation suppresses self‐motion artifacts, enabling fast, low‐power, robust autonomous UAV tracking and ...

Don’t Just Make Redistricters More Accountable to the People, Make Them the People [PDF]
This thesis investigated the heat transfer of internally oil cooled rotors in permanent magnet electric machines which are, among other things, used in hybrid vehicles or zero emission vehicles.

We present a fully printed aqueous zinc‐ion microbattery (ZnIB) enabled by graphene‐decorated zinc anode and printed MnO@NC cathode using sustainable aqueous‐based ink formulations. The printed 3D electrodes ensure uniform zinc deposition, low overpotential, and long‐term stability.

Ferromagnetic Enhancement of CE-type Spin Ordering in (Pr,Ca)MnO$_3$
We present resonant soft X-ray scattering (RSXS) results from small band width manganites (Pr,Ca)MnO$_3$, which show that the CE-type spin ordering (SO) at the phase boundary is stabilized only below the canted antiferromagnetic transition temperature ...

LL‐37 Driven Phase Transition and Stacking in Oligolamellar Gram‐Negative Bacterial Membrane Models
This work establishes oligolamellar bacterial membrane models to investigate how LL‐37 disrupts the complex dual‐bilayer architecture of Gram‐negative bacteria. Combining SAXS, cryo‐TEM, electrophoretic mobility measurements, and coarse‐grained simulations, it reveals cardiolipin‐driven phase transitions leading to bicelle‐like structures and membrane ...
