Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

NARCISSISM IN POSTMODERN SOCIETY AND SCHOOLS: THE INFLUENCE OF NEOLIBERAL VALUES ON THE BEHAVIORAL PATTERNS OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

open access: yesInnovative Issues and Approaches in Social Sciences
This article examines narcissism as a cultural and educational problem in late-modern societies, arguing that neoliberal values—competition, performativity, and market-like evaluations shape children’s and adolescents’ self-understanding and behavior ...

Mapping Children’s Life-Worlds: A Content-Analytical Study of Drawings of Favourite Gifts

open access: yes, 2020
What children count as their favourite things tell us not only about children but also about their social and cultural experiences. This study, based on the outcomes of a children’s drawing competition organised by the Estonian National Museum and ...

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Effects of experimentally induced peer-group rejection and out-group ethnicity on children's anxiety, self-esteem, and in-group and out-group attitudes

open access: yes, 2009
A minimal group study examined the effect of peer group rejection on children's state anxiety and self-esteem, as well as their attitudes towards the rejecting group and an outgroup that had the same or different ethnicity to the participants. Seven and

All‐Polyimide‐Mediated Liquid Metal Assembly on Aerogels for Breathable and Robust Electronic Skins

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐polyimide‐mediated assembly strategy resolves the fundamental conflict between physiological breathability and electromechanical robustness in wearable electronics. By integrating a polyamic acid‐encapsulated liquid metal ink onto an ultralight polyimide aerogel, imidization‐induced contraction enables low‐temperature conductive activation and ...

Regulation in the Making: The Governance Effects of Civil Liability in EU Digital Regulation

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Risk Regulation
This article argues that civil liability in EU digital regulation does more than enforce regulatory duties or compensate damage arising from regulatory breaches: it also produces governance effects by specifying regulatory duties and (re)allocating ...
