Map Drawing Competition for Children in Indonesia
2011The National Coordinating Agency for Surveys and Mapping of Indonesia (BAKOSURTANAL) has been organizing map drawing competitions for children in Indonesia as a way to popularize map to children. These competitions were always handled seriously and such competitions were always participated by more than expected numbers of children.

The Draw Index: A Measure of Competition for Winner-Take-All Elections
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2010Winner’s percentage, a common measure of electoral competition in winner-take-all elections, measures the shift in vote shares required to produce changes in election outcome. Thus, winner’s percentage of the vote cast is a logical measure of winner-take-all competition. It treats equally shifts from higher to lower ranking candidates.
