Membrane composition and thermodynamic identity as boundaries of life for synthetic cell research
What makes a cell a cell? The boundary of a living cell is not just a wall. Read as a Markov blanket, the membrane separates internal from external states, generating identity and non‐equilibrium order. Can this identity be rebuilt from scratch in a synthetic cell?

Understanding Health and Well-Being from Naturalistic Driving Behavior
The way humans interact with their environment leaves traces that reflect their health and well-being. Advances in sensing technologies now make it possible to capture these traces passively and unobtrusively.

Seeing and Hearing the Turn: Multimodal AR-HUD Navigation in Multi-Branch Road Scenarios
Although AR-HUD navigation has demonstrated potential in improving driving performance, most existing studies have focused on single-modality visual cues and have not sufficiently examined the integration of auditory and visual information, the influence

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Driving Under the Influence of Our Fathers [PDF]
This paper studies intergenerational correlations in drunk driving between fathers and their children using the Stockholm Birth Cohort. We find strong evidence of an intergenerational drunk driving relationship.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Exploring rounD Dataset for Domain Generalization in Autonomous Vehicle Trajectory Prediction
This paper analyzes the rounD dataset to advance motion forecasting algorithms for autonomous vehicles navigating complex roundabout environments. We develop a trajectory prediction framework inspired by Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) networks and graph ...

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.
