Research on operating domain optimization of power split hybrid electric vehicle based on global bifurcation and chaos threshold

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2020
The power-split hybrid electric vehicle (PS-HEV) has multiple working modes to maintain high operation efficiency according to different conditions. The main modes involved in the vehicle driving process are pure electric mode and the hybrid driving mode.

On a Blockchain-Based Security Scheme for Defense against Malicious Nodes in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs) aim to provide a comfortable driving experience. Sharing messages in VANETs can help with traffic management, congestion mitigation, and driving safety.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Postfitting Control Scheme for Periodic Piezoscanner Driving [PDF]

open access: yesJapanese Journal of Applied Physics, 2006
The hysteresis and other nonlinear properties of piezoelectric scanners cause image distortion in scanning probe microscopy (SPM). Two types of control algorithm, feedback and feedforward, were applied to solve this problem. In general, a feedforward control method has a higher scanning speed, a higher resolution, but a lower accuracy than a feedback ...

Machine vision-based driving and feedback scheme for digital microfluidics system

open access: yesOpen Chemistry, 2021
A digital microfluidic system based on electrowetting-on-dielectric is a new technology for controlling microliter-sized droplets on a plane. By applying a voltage signal to an electrode, the droplets can be controlled to move, merge, and split.

PMSM motor drive and their control schemes

open access: yesJournal of Applied Research and Technology
This paper investigated different control Techniques of Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive with open loop, voltage/frequency (V/F) control, closed-loop Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) control, and sensor-less Modified Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (MSVPWMM) control with MATLAB/Simulink.

High power coupled midinfrared free-electron-laser oscillator scheme as a driver for up-frequency conversion processes in the x-ray region

open access: yesPhysical Review Special Topics. Accelerators and Beams, 2012
In this paper we present a high-gain free-electron-laser (FEL) oscillator scheme composed of two oscillators that are ideally coupled unidirectionally, with the coupled signal power flowing from the master to the amplifier oscillator.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
