Biomimetic Multiscale‐Structured Biomass Graphene/Polyurethane Sponge Composite for Flexible Pressure Sensors and Intelligent Cushioning Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, a multifunctional conductive sponge composite (MAPU) is developed using a biomimetic, hierarchical construction strategy emulating the growth process of natural wood. This approach involved integrating biomass‐derived graphitic nanoflakes, synthesized from luffa vine (LVGN), into a polyurethane (PU) sponge matrix.

An improved driving waveform reference grayscale of electrophoretic displays

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
Driving waveform is an important component for gray scale display on the electrophoretic display (EPD). In the traditional driving waveform, a white reference gray scale is formed before writing a new image. However, the reflectance value can not reach agreement in each gray scale transformation. In this paper, a new driving waveform, which has a short

Driving waveform design for playing animations on electronic papers

2015 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), 2015
Showing animations on electronic papers for highlighting some important items is always desirable, but none of mature driving methods have been developed. In this paper, a new driving method aiming at reducing ghost images as well as improving the panel reliability is presented.
