A Comparative Functional Approach to the Host Detection Behaviour of Parasitic Wasps. 1. A Qualitative Study on Eucoilidae and Alysiinae [PDF]
We studied host detection behaviour in Alysiinae (Braconidae; Ichneumonoidea) and Eucoilidae (Cynipoidea), the larvae of which are endoparasitoids of fly larvae and in- vestigated whether this behaviour is determined by their descent or can be considered

Investigating zeta‐cypermethrin resistance stability in California Drosophila suzukii populations
After continuous selection and removal of selection pressure in spotted‐wing Drosophila, zeta‐cypermethrin resistance remained stable over several generations. Following a population bottleneck, zeta‐cypermethrin resistance increased without selection, highlighting the importance of insecticide rotation.

Exploring marking methods for the predatory hoverfly Sphaerophoria rueppellii (Diptera: Syrphidae)
As important pollinators and predators of aphids, hoverflies play an important role in ecosystems. This study focuses on identifying the best marking technique for the model species Sphaerophoria rueppellii that can be used to track hoverfly feeding and oviposition sites, evaluating three methods: rubidium (RbCl), fluorescein, and fluorescent dusts ...
