Harnessing Cation–Anion Synergistic Effect for High‐Performance Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Guanidine (CH6N3+) cations preferentially adsorb on the Zinc (Zn) anode surface, generating an electrostatic shielding effect to promote uniform Zn2+ deposition. Meanwhile, SO42– anions participate in constructing the solid electrolyte interface (SEI) on the Zn anode, forming a robust protective layer.

Pricing systems analysis of DRT systems

open access: yesActa Technica Jaurinensis, 2014
Flexible transport systems (or Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) systems) are becoming more and more popular in the sector of public transportation. The reason for this is mainly the economic sustainability of these systems which is reached by minimising the blank routes and using the capacities in a highly effective way.

High Power Density, Low Temperature, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells at Elevated Oxygen Partial Pressure

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Elevated pO2${{p}_{{{{\mathrm{O}}}_2}}}$ improves oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) kinetics, thus reducing electrode area specific resistance (ASR). The effect of pO2${{p}_{{{{\mathrm{O}}}_2}}}$ in open circuit potential (OCP) and ASR is demonstrated on both Sr0.5Sm0.5CoO3‐δ‐Gd0.1Ce0.9O2‐δ (SSC‐GDC) composite cathodes and our recently developed nano‐PSC

Interfacial Fluorinated Ion Crowding Enables Reversible Zinc Metal Batteries

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Unlike conventional single‐anion electrolytes with limited interfacial regulation, interfacial F‐ion crowding enables dense occupation of the inner Helmholtz plane through cooperative fluorinated anions, thereby generating a fluorine‐rich interface that excludes water, homogenizes Zn2+ nucleation, promotes Zn (100)‐oriented deposition, and enables ...

Synergistic Optimization of Cathode Composite Architecture and Stack Pressure for High‐Performance All‐Solid‐State Chloride‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Composite cathode engineering and stack pressure co‐optimization enable a high‐performance all‐solid‐state chloride‐ion battery based on a VOCl/CsSn₀.₉In₀.₀₆₇Cl3/In architecture, delivering 169 mAh g−1 with 500‐cycle durability. Electrode‐resolved impedance tracking via distribution of relaxation times revealed progressive interphase and charge ...

Reflex Charging for Anion‐Derived Solid Electrolyte Interphase Formation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Reflex charging reprograms the electric double layer (EDL) during battery formation by periodically reversing electrode polarity, enabling persistent anion enrichment at the interface. This dynamic interfacial control shifts Li+ solvation toward anion‐coordinated states, promoting the formation of an inorganic‐rich, anion‐derived solid electrolyte ...
