The Non‐Canonical ChREBPα Activity Suppresses the Activation of Hepatic Stellate Cells and Liver Fibrosis by Antagonizing TGF‐β‐E2F1 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intrahepatic microenvironment greatly impacts duration and degree of HSCs activation and development of liver fibrosis. By inhibiting TGFβ‐E2F1‐driven production of profibrogenic factors (CTGF and THBS1), hepatocyte ChREBPα monitors hepatic microenvironment and suppresses the overactivation of HSCs.

Activation of HTR2B Suppresses Osteosarcoma Progression through the STAT1‐NLRP3 Inflammasome Pathway and Promotes OASL1+ Macrophage Production to Enhance Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Activation of HTR2B suppresses osteosarcoma progression through the STAT1‐NLRP3 inflammasome pathway and promotes OASL1+ Macrophage production to enhance anti‐tumor immunity. Abstract Osteosarcoma is a primary malignant bone tumor originating from mesenchymal tissue, and associated with poor prognosis.

A High‐Fidelity RNA‐Targeting Cas13X Downregulates Connexin43 in Macroglia: A Novel Neuroprotective Strategy for Glaucoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study highlights the role of connexin43 (Cx43) in mediating glia activation and neuroinflammation in glaucoma. Using Cx43 knockout mice, it is shown that macroglial cells‐derived Cx43 modulates microglial activation, proliferation, migration, and polarization.

Eosinophils‐Induced Lumican Secretion by Synovial Fibroblasts Alleviates Cartilage Degradation via the TGF‐β Pathway Mediated by Anxa1 Binding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Eosinophils play a crucial role in the progression of temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA). This study demonstrates that eosinophils, induced by OVA/IL‐5, promote Lumican secretion in the synovium, which binds to Annexin A1 in chondrocytes, inhibiting transforming growth factor β2 and Smad2/3 phosphorylation.
