Background: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection is an important public health globally. An important concomitant medical disorder among HIV-infected patients is tuberculosis. The management of concurrent infection between HIV and tuberculosis is usually difficult. The concomitant use of antituberculosis drug and antiretroviral drug is required.

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

Immune responses in fatalities involving opioids
In some cases of fatalities involving opioid use, the concentrations of detected opioids are not in the toxic range. Immune reactions can be triggered by opioid use, suggesting that immune response may be a factor in these cases.
