Self‐Powered Flexible Triboelectric‐Gated Ion‐Gel Transistor for Neuromorphic Tactile Sensing and Human Activity Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

Blade couple with dry friction connection

open access: yesApplied and Computational Mechanics, 2015
Vibration of a blade couple damped by a dry friction contact in the shroud is investigated by means of hysteresis loops and response curves analysis. The studied system is excited by one harmonic external force in a frequency range near to the lowest ...

Elephant‐Skin‐Inspired Porous Cementitious Tiles with Programmable Crack Networks for Passive Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

Calibration of snow avalanche mathematical models using the data of real avalanches in the Ile (Zailiyskiy) Alatau Range

open access: yesЛëд и снег, 2017
The calibration of the dry friction and turbulent friction coefficients is necessary for computer simulation of avalanches. The method of back calculation based on data on actual avalanches is used for this purpose.
