This study optimizes the hydrothermal synthesis of TiO2 nanorods on FTO substrates, varying the reaction time from 4 to 9 hr. The 8‐h sample (FTO/TiO2 NRs/ hibiscus flower dye/electrolyte/gold/FTO) exhibits optimal alignment and enhanced light absorption, leading to the highest dye‐sensitized solar cells efficiency (η = 0.97%) using hibiscus flower dye.
