A dual-band optics design for disjoint spectral bands and for a cooled FPA sensor, sensitive to both bands, is presented. The use of special optical splitting mechanisms enables matching the optical paths of both bands to the same sensor. Reasonable optical performance and good registration were achieved for dual bands such as 8 to 12 μm together with ...

Concurrent dual-band LNA for dual-system dual-band GNSS receiver
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2013Two concurrent dual-band low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) for GNSS applications are presented. They adopted resistive load and LC resonator load, respectively. On-chip circuits are used for biasing the main amplifiers and active baluns are used for single-ended-to-differential conversions.

A dual‐band Chebyshev impedance transformer
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2003AbstractThis paper presents a simple extension of the Chebyshev quarter‐wave multisection transformer synthesis to dual‐band operation. The method is a variation of the classical Chebyshev transformer design procedure, using a suitable 2nd‐order trigonometric polynomial as the argument of the Chebyshev polynomial. As compared to a single‐band Chebyshev

Terahertz dual-band resonator on silicon
Optics Letters, 2010We have designed and fabricated a dual-band resonator in the terahertz frequency range on high-resistivity silicon. The device is designed to show resonances at 2.6 and 4.3 THz using the finite-difference time-domain modeling method. The characteristics of the fabricated device have been examined by using a Fourier-transform IR spectrometer.

Dual-Band Pattern Reconfigurable 5G Antenna using Dual-Band BLC
2018 IEEE Conference on Antenna Measurements & Applications (CAMA), 2018A design of two elements pattern reconfigurable dual-band (2.6/3.6 GHz) and broadband Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna for excepted 5G wireless communication systems is proposed in this paper. The antenna structure is simple, compact and only occupied a small space of 18×5.5×4.5 mm 3 .

Dual band planar folded monopole
2010 International Workshop on Antenna Technology (iWAT), 2010In this paper an improved design of a dual band planar folded monopole is proposed. A folded monopole antenna is constructed by truncating the folded dipole antenna by half and attaching the ground plane. The planar folded monopole has been analyzed theoretically and experimentally. The design was extended to a dual band operation.

Design of a novel dual-band low noise amplifier incorporating dual-band impedance transformer
2016 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communications (SPCOM), 2016This paper reports the design of a novel flexible dual-band frequency dependent complex load impedance transformer. The proposed dual-band impedance transformer (DBIT) is capable of matching any arbitrary complex impedance seen by the active device at two arbitrary frequencies to a real source impedance of 50 Ω simultaneously. The closed form equations

Novel Dual-Band Matching Network for Effective Design of Concurrent Dual-Band Power Amplifiers
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2014In this paper, a systematic approach to the synthesis of a novel dual-band matching network is proposed and applied to design a dual-band power amplifier (PA) capable of maintaining high power efficiency at two arbitrary, widely spaced frequencies. The proposed network incorporates two different stages.

A design of dual-band smart tag
2016 International SoC Design Conference (ISOCC), 2016The dual-band smart tag is designed and is fabricated using a 0.18 ρ 1-Poly 4-Metal CMOS Process, and the area is 5mm × 5mm. The dual-band smart tag can recognize and demodulate the frequency bands of both UHF band (868 ∼ 956 MHz) and HF band (13.56 MHz). The Digital block for verification is programmed in Arduino Uno board. Consequently, the dual-band
