Gain enhancement of a dual-band monopole antenna loaded with dual-band AMC
2017 IEEE Applied Electromagnetics Conference (AEMC), 2017A dual-band Artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) based dual-band antenna operating over WLAN (2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz) bands is presented. The proposed antenna structure consists of a CPW-fed dual-band monopole, loaded with 4×3 AMC unit cells and has a compact dimension of 60×45 mm2.
