Compact Dual Band Antenna Design for Ku / Ka Band Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Electromagnetics, 2017
This communication proposes a compact 16 GHz / 30 GHz dual band antenna design for Ku / Ka band applications. The antenna consists of two layers with lower layer having the fed patch and the upper layer having non-periodic element array.

Design of Integrated Duplexing and Multi-Band Filtering Slot Antennas

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, a duplexing antenna and two multi-band filtering antennas using resonator loaded slot are presented. The loaded slot can be flexibly designed as a dual-band or a tri-band antenna by changing the number of the loaded resonator.

Independently Tunable Concurrent Dual-Band VCO Using Square Open-Loop Resonator

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
A concurrent dual-band voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with independently tunable dual oscillation frequencies is proposed. A shared square open-loop dual-mode resonator and two varactor diodes are the basic units offering flexible tuning for the ...

Miniature Multi-Band Absorptive Bandstop Filter Designs Using Bridged-T Coils

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, miniature absorptive bandstop filters (ABSFs) with one to three stopbands are demonstrated. First, the proposed single-band ABSF is realized by the introduction of one lossy resonator to a conventional stub bandstop filter, while the ...

Dual-Band Omnidirectional Circularly Polarized Antenna

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2013
A dual-band omnidirectional circularly polarized antenna is proposed. The antenna comprises back-to-back microstrip patches fed by a coplanar waveguide. A very low frequency ratio of 1.182 has been achieved, which can be easily tuned by adjusting four lumped capacitors incorporated into the antenna.

Dual-band Sierpinski fractal monopole antenna [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
A new top-loaded reduced-sized dual-band (1.9 GHz and 3.5 GHz) monopole antenna for wireless communications is presented. The antenna provides better than -15 dB input return loss and keeps the same radiation pattern over both bands.

Dual‐band electrochromic materials for energy‐saving smart windows

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, 2023
Smart windows refer to those which can dynamically modulate the transmitted light by changing their colors. Dual‐band electrochromic materials (ECMs) refer to materials that can change their colors and regulate light transmission in both visible (VIS ...

Dual-band switched beam array fed by dual-band Butler matrix

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2011
A two layer dual-band switched beam system operating at two separate frequency bands is proposed. This system consists of a dual-band 4×4 Butler matrix at the bottom layer and a dual-band microstrip antenna array at the top layer. The antenna array is fed by a Butler matrix to produce four beams that can be tilted in different four directions.
