Small Size Dual-band Bandpass Filters with Multiconductor Transmission Lines and Shunt Open Stubs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
A dual-band bandpass filter consisting of multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) and shunt stubs has been designed. The used topology, based on the interconnection of two identical MTL and a shunt open stub, has a frequency response that can be modelled

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Pattern Synthesis of Dual-band Shared Aperture Interleaved Linear Antenna Arrays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper presents an approach to improve the efficiency of an array aperture by interleaving two different arrays in the same aperture area. Two sub-arrays working at different frequencies are interleaved in the same linear aperture area. The available

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Dual-band X/Ku Reflectarray Antenna Using a Novel FSS-Backed Unit-Cell with Quasi-Spiral Phase Delay Line

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications
A novel FSS-Backed reflectarray unit cell is introduced to design a dual-band X/Ku Reflectarray Antenna (RA). A Ku-band RA based on this FSS-Backed cell element is designed and located on the top of a conventional X-band RA.

Novel double-band input coupler for gyroklystron and gyro-TWT

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
A novel input coupler that can operate in two different frequency bands separately is proposed in this paper. The dual-band (X/Ku) signals are input by two rectangular waveguides, respectively, in particular, a Bragg reflector is inserted in one of the ...

Covert dual-band wearable button antenna [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2006
A novel dual-band antenna for wearable WLAN computing applications is introduced. This antenna comprises three discs and a coaxial post. Its appearance is of a standard metal button of the type used in denim jeans. The antenna is easily disguised and less sensitive to clothing than printed patches, which use the textile fabric as a substrate or ...

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.
