Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Dual-band transmission polarization conversion metasurface and its reconfigurable-phase design
Although abundant transmission polarization conversion metasurfaces (T-PCMs) have been reported, a dual-band T-PCM has only received little attention. Moreover, a reconfigurable-phase design of the T-PCMs is limited to a single-frequency band operation ...

Design of Multi-Band Filters Using Parallel Connected Topology [PDF]
This paper presents the design of multi-band filters using parallel connected topology. The resonator in each branch is the dual-mode resonator which provides two resonant modes per passband for miniaturization.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Design and simulated characterization of the dual-band polarizer based on metasurface structure
Dual-band polarizers must simultaneously exhibit high transmittance and bandwidth efficiency in fields such as polarization navigation and efficient detection. However, in most studies, the detection of dual bands is inefficient.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Compact Millimeter-Wave Single- and Dual-Band On-Chip Bandpass Filters Using GaAs Technology
In this paper, two compact on-chip bandpass filters (BPFs) at millimeter-wave frequencies, i.e., single-band BPF and dual-band BPF, are proposed in gallium arsenide (GaAs) technology.

This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.
