Decoupling of Two Strongly Coupled Dual-Band Antennas With Reactively Loaded Dummy Element Array

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
An efficient antenna mutual coupling reduction (decoupling) technique using reactively loaded dummy element array for two dual-band closely coupled MIMO antennas is proposed in this paper.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Dual band printed antenna [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The invention consists of a dual band printed antenna planned to be implemented preferably in base stations of dual mobile telephony which use GSM and DCS-1800 systems, although other applications are not rejected.Similarly to the well-known printed ...

The NIKA2 instrument, a dual-band kilopixel KID array for millimetric astronomy

open access: yes, 2015
NIKA2 (New IRAM KID Array 2) is a camera dedicated to millimeter wave astronomy based upon kilopixel arrays of Kinetic Inductance Detectors (KID). The pathfinder instrument, NIKA, has already shown state-of-the-art detector performance. NIKA2 builds upon

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Dual-Band Power Divider with Wide Suppression Band

open access: yesARO-The Scientific Journal of Koya University
In this paper, a planar dual-band Wilkinson power divider (DWPD) with a triangular-shaped resonator is designed. This work stands out from existing designs by addressing key limitations in conventional power dividers, i.e., physical size, harmonic ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

A Left/Right-Handed Dual Circularly-Polarized Antenna With Duplexing and Filtering Performance

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A shared-radiator dual-band dual-sense circularly-polarized (CP) microstrip antenna with duplexing and filtering functions is presented. For each band, there is a coupling network, which consists of a hairpin resonator, a straight slot, and a U-slot, and

Miniaturized top-metallized rectangular dielectric resonator antenna [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, a modal analysis of a rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA), with unconventional boundary conditions, is carried out. Analytical equations of the fields inside the resonator and simulations are presented, showing that if a ...

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.
