A dual‐band bandpass filter based on dual‐band DBR

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2011
AbstractA dual‐band bandpass filter using a new dual‐band dual‐behavior resonator (DBR) structure is proposed. The new dual‐band DBR consists of only two stopband elements connected in parallel. One is a uniform impedance open‐circuited stub and the other is a stepped impedance open‐circuited stub.

Third‐order dual‐band filter with dual‐band admittance inverter

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2010
AbstractIn this article, stepped impedance resonator with dual‐band admittance inverter is proposed to design the dual‐band microstrip filter to operate at (2.4, 5.2) GHz and at (0.9, 2.3) GHz, respectively. The proposed dual‐band microstrip filter consists of stepped‐impedance resonators (SIRs) in shunt cascaded by dual‐band inverter.

Dual-Band Dielectric-Resonator Filters

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2009
A novel dual-band dielectric resonator constructed from a single piece of high-K ceramic substrate is presented in this paper. The proposed dual-band dielectric resonator is employed to implement dual-band filters whose center frequencies and bandwidths of the first and second passbands can be controlled independently.

Dual-band bandpass ring filter

2010 IEEE Student Conference on Research and Development (SCOReD), 2010
A topology of a dual-band filter is presented based on a series-combination of two identical ring resonators. The circumference of each ring is equal to one wavelength taken at the center frequency between the two chosen operating frequencies. The control of the filter response in terms of bandwidth and separation between the operating frequencies can ...

A compact dual‐band bandstop filter

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2009
AbstractA compact nonresonating, dual‐band bandstop filter is proposed. By connecting two transmission lines with proper characteristic impedances and phase delay (one is 90° and the other one is 450° in electrical length at center frequency), a dual stopband with two transmission zeros at each stopband is obtained.

Microfluidic dual-band bandpass filter

2017 IEEE Asia Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), 2017
In this paper, we propose a microfluidic dual-band bandpass filter with frequency switching capability. The proposed filter is composed of two split ring resonators (SRRs) and a microfluidic channel. The lower resonant frequency is determined by only the length of the SRRs, whereas the higher resonant frequency is determined by the lengths of the SRRs ...

Dual-band bandpass filter in LTCC

IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2005., 2005
A lumped-element dual-band bandpass filter for low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) implementation is proposed. Design equation formulations are presented. For demonstration, one RF filter operating at 2.4 and 5.2 GHz is designed. Simulated and measured results are provided.

A independently controllable dual band filter

2012 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT), 2012
This paper presents a novel method to produce dual mode dual band filter. The dual band filter is based on two half-wavelength UIR centrally loaded with shorted stub. The dual band can be independently controllable. An example filter is implemented and experimental results are presented to verify the proposed method.

Superconducting dual-band filters

2019
Several compact and high-performance HTS dual-band BPF based on multi-mode resonators have been reviewed in this chapter. Firstly a series of novel and compact dual-mode or quadruple-mode resonators are presented for constituting the loworder dual-band filters with the electrically small size and ultra-low insertion loss. Then, a novel dual-mode HRR is

Filters for dual band infrared imagers

SPIE Proceedings, 2009
Dual band infrared imagers require a similar set of filters as are needed by single band infrared imagers but with the added requirement of high transmission in the mid and far infrared. The design of discrete layer filters with optimized dual band transmission is investigated for three types of filters.
