Tunable dual-band terahertz metamaterial bandpass filters

We report metamaterial terahertz (THz) bandpass filters with tunable dual-band selectivity. The shift in the center frequency of the device is achieved by actively modifying the effective length of the resonators. This was realized by introducing vanadium dioxide (VO2) bridges interconnecting specific regions of each resonator.

Dual-Band Filter Inspired by ENZ Waveguide

This letter presents a novel design of the third-order dual-band filter operating in the frequency band 10–15 GHz. The filter consists of two rectangular cavities filled with foam dielectric and connected by an ultrathin waveguide channel, which mimics the epsilon-near-zero metamaterial.

Compact Waveguide Dual-Band Filters and Diplexers

This paper presents a new class of dual-band filters and diplexers, realized based on dual-band resonators. The proposed dual-band filter and diplexer do not require junctions and can achieve equivalent performance with fewer cavities, thus offering a significant reduction in size compared with traditional approaches.

Tunable Dual Band Filter with BST Capacitors

A tunable double band band-stop filter based on BST is presented. This configuration has a coplanar microstrip loaded with stepped impedance resonators. Ferroelectric BST parallel plate capacitors were loaded at the end of the stepped impedance resonators.

This paper presents single-and dual-band filtering power amplifiers (FPA). In single-band FPA, a bandpass filter (BPF) using discriminating coupling is proposed to be utilized as the output matching network (OMN). By analyzing coupling matrix of BPF, impedances of the OMN at fundamental mode and harmonic are controlled independently.
