A precise vector voltmeter (Princeton Applied Research Model 129, operated in the two-phase lock-in amplifier mode) is used in a microwave power calibrating system to accurately measure the outputs of a network analyzer (Hewlett Packard Model 8410 with Model 8411A harmonic frequency converter and Model 8413A phase-gain indicator).

Thermostatted dual‐channel portable capillary electrophoresis instrument [PDF]
A new portable CE instrument is presented. The instrument features the concurrent separation of anions and cations in parallel channels. Each channel has a separate buffer container to allow independent optimization of separation conditions. The microfluidics circuit is based on off‐the‐shelf parts, and can be easily replicated; only four valves are ...

A 12-Gb/s Stacked Dual-Channel Interface for CMOS Image Sensor Systems
We propose a dual-channel interface architecture that allocates high and low transition-density bit streams to two separate channels. The transmitter utilizes the stacked drivers with charge-recycling to reduce the power consumption.

A Deconvolutional Deblurring Algorithm Based on Dual-Channel Images
Aiming at the motion blur restoration of large-scale dual-channel space-variant images, this paper proposes a dual-channel image deblurring method based on the idea of block aggregation, by studying imaging principles and existing algorithms.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.
