We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Erlangen Program at Large-1: Geometry of Invariants
This paper presents geometrical foundation for a systematic treatment of three main (elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic) types of analytic function theories based on the representation theory of SL_2(R) group. We describe here geometries of corresponding

On tertions and dual numbers [PDF]
In a previous author's paper [1], the mathematical object called "tertion" was discussed. Some operations over tertions were introduced and their properties were studied. There, it was showed that the complex numbers and quaternions can be represented by

Calculation of machine precision second order derivatives using dual-complex numbers
Abstract It is well known that both complex and dual numbers can be employed to obtain machine precision first-order derivatives; however, neither, on their own, can compute machine precision 2nd order derivatives. To address this limitation, it is demonstrated in this paper that combined dual-complex numbers can be used to compute machine ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ALGEBRA OF HYPERDUAL NUMBERS IN NEURAL NETWORKS
For the numerical solution of problems arising in various fields of mathematics and mechanics, it is often necessary to determine the values of derivatives included in the model.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Winding numbers and generalized mobility edges in non-Hermitian systems
The Aubry-André-Harper (AAH) model with a self-dual symmetry plays an important role in studying the Anderson localization. Here we find a self-dual symmetry determining the quantum phase transition between extended and localized states in a non ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Non metrizable topologies on Z with countable dual group.
In this paper we give two families of non-metrizable topologies on the group of the integers having a countable dual group which is isomorphic to a infinite torsion subgroup of the unit circle in the complex plane.
