Backbone Heterojunction Photocatalysts for Efficient Sacrificial Hydrogen Production
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Herein, a ‘single‐component’ organic semiconductor photocatalyst is presented in which a molecular donor is bonded to a polymer acceptor. The resultant material demonstrates exceptional photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution in aqueous triethylamine with an outstanding external quantum efficiency of 38% at 420 nm.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A miniaturized mechano‐acoustic sensor is developed using an electrospun PVDF nanomesh as the diaphragm in a capacitive sensor structure. Unlike conventional nanomesh‐based sensors, it achieves high linear sensitivity, a broad and flat frequency response, and a compact form factor.

, 2020 Gradient-index (GRIN) lens antennas, such as the Luneburg lens, posses attractive electromagnetic properties. The smooth change in refractive index ensures no internal reflections and the focusing of the electromagnetic waves results in a directive antenna. The main challenge of the design of a GRIN lens is acquiring the required refractive index.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A reconfigurable metamaterial featuring tunable microwave‐absorbing and load‐bearing performance is proposed.
