High Efficiency Dual-Band Dual-Circularly Polarized Transmitarray Antenna

open access: yesMicromachines
A dual-band dual-circularly polarized transmitarray antenna (TA) operating in the 28/39 GHz millimeter-wave band is proposed in this article. The TA unit consists of two parts: a broadband linearly polarized (LP) receiving part and a dual-band dual ...

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Dual-polarized UWB antenna array

open access: yes2009 IEEE International Conference on Ultra-Wideband, 2009
The paper describes a dual-polarized antenna array for Impulse Radio Ultra Wideband (IR-UWB) applications. Firstly a brief description of the single radiator is given. Next the prototype is presented and measured data is compared with the simulated one. The linear array consisting of four components achieves a very narrow mean 3 dB beam width, which is

Artificial Intelligence in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Incorporation of Selenium into Sol–Gel‐Derived Bioactive Glass: Influence on Glass Structure, Bioactivity, and its Selective Cytotoxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Selenium was incorporated into a sol–gel‐derived bioactive glass to enable sustained therapeutic ion release. The selenium‐containing glass preserved bioactivity while selectively inducing cytotoxicity in osteosarcoma cells and maintaining osteoblastic viability.

Double covers of symplectic dual polar graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2016
Let $Γ=Γ(2n,q)$ be the dual polar graph of type $Sp(2n,q)$. Underlying this graph is a $2n$-dimensional vector space $V$ over a field ${\mathbb F}_q$ of odd order $q$, together with a symplectic (i.e. nondegenerate alternating bilinear) form $B:V\times V\to{\mathbb F}_q$.

Ontology‐Aligned Structuring and Reuse of Multimodal Materials Data and Workflows Toward Automatic Reproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Reproduction of stacking fault energy calculations from literature with a semi‐automated large language model‐assisted extraction procedure: extraction of simulation protocol, atomistic structures, computational parameters, and reported results, ontology alignment, knowledge graph construction and, finally, recomputation forvalidation.

Compact dual-polarized microstrip antenna

open access: yes, 2012
[[abstract]]Dual linearly polarized operations of a compact slot-loaded square microstrip antenna are experimentally investigated in this paper. Four symmetrical bent slots are embedded in the square patch, and placed in parallel with the patch's central

QoS-Aware Precoding for Dual-Polarized Downlink Massive MIMO LEO Satellite Communications

open access: yesSpace: Science & Technology
Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communications (SATCOM) are important for wireless networks and offer better global wireless access services than higher altitude SATCOM options.
