A dual-LSTM framework combining change point detection and remaining useful life prediction

Reliability Engineering & System Safety, 2021
Remaining Useful Life (RUL) prediction is a key task of Condition-based Maintenance (CBM). The massive data collected from multiple sensors enables monitoring the complex systems in near real-time.

Duals Invert

Applied Categorical Structures, 2009
The review partly uses the authors' abstract. As the authors notice, monoidal objects (pseudomonoids) in monoidal bicategories share many properties with monoidal categories. The existence of (left or right) duals in monoidal categories permits to define dualization operations; a related definition was suggested for monoidal objects by \textit{B.

Single Cobalt Atoms Anchored on Porous N-Doped Graphene with Dual Reaction Sites for Efficient Fenton-like Catalysis.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2018
The Fenton-like process presents one of the most promising strategies to generate reactive oxygen-containing radicals to deal with the ever-growing environmental pollution.

Dual Cocatalysts in TiO2 Photocatalysis

Advances in Materials, 2019
Semiconductor photocatalysis is recognized as a promising strategy to simultaneously address energy needs and environmental pollution. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) has been investigated for such applications due to its low cost, nontoxicity, and high chemical

Dual Inheritance

2006
Genetic inheritance in higher organisms normally refers to the transmission of information from one generation to the next. Nevertheless, there is also inheritance in somatic cells, characterised by the phenotypic stability of differentiated cells that divide (such as fibroblasts and lymphocytes), and also mitosis of stem line cells, which gives rise ...

Multilayer Dual-Mode Dual-Bandpass Filter

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2009
A dual-mode dual-bandpass filter for the U-NII bands is proposed and demonstrated. Its effective size reduction is achieved by using a multilayer configuration. The first and the third layers incorporate microstrip dual-mode bandpass filters with operating center-frequencies of f1 =5.2 GHz and f2 =5.8 GHz, respectively.

Dual Citizenship

2020
Why did states once abhor dual nationality? Dual nationality was once considered a threat to morality and to the international order. As the American diplomat George Bancroft remarked in 1849, states should “as soon tolerate a man with two wives as a man with...

Self-Dual Preferences

Econometrica, 1976
Recent papers by Houthakker [3 and 4], Samuelson [8 and 9], Sir John Hicks [2], and others deal with the question of the existence of a nontrivial preference ordering which exhibits the same mathematical properties in terms of both the direct and indirect utility functions.
