Decompositions of g-Frames and Duals and Pseudoduals of g-Frames in Hilbert Spaces
Firstly, we study the representation of g-frames in terms of linear combinations of simpler ones such as g-orthonormal bases, g-Riesz bases, and normalized tight g-frames.

ABSTRACT Objectives Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is the most common etiology of drug‐resistant epilepsy in children. Focal to bilateral tonic–clonic seizures (FBTCS) mark a high risk of drug‐resistant epilepsy and involve thalamocortical circuitry in their generation and propagation.

ABSTRACT Multisystemic smooth muscle dysfunction syndrome (MSMDS) is an ultra‐rare, ACTA2‐related disorder characterized by severe cerebrovascular disease, aortic aneurysms, and smooth muscle dysfunction. Using molecular dynamics simulations and in silico drug screening, we identified that sapropterin dihydrochloride (Kuvan) is a candidate capable of ...

Objective We examined whether 18 months of strength training in individuals with knee varus alignment and medial tibiofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) reduced knee joint loads during walking compared to an attention control group. Methods This study was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial that compared the effects of strength training to a ...

Optimal dual frames and frame completions for majorization
In this paper we consider two problems in frame theory. On the one hand, given a set of vectors $\mathcal F$ we describe the spectral and geometrical structure of optimal completions of $\mathcal F$ by a finite family of vectors with prescribed norms, where optimality is measured with respect to majorization.

Rheumatologic Manifestations of Patients With Type B Insulin Resistance
Objective The objectives of this study were to identify laboratory and clinical features associated with type B insulin resistance (TBIR), a rare condition caused by autoantibodies that inhibit the insulin receptor, most frequently occurring in the setting of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and to increase awareness of this rare, life‐threatening ...

The Studies of (Dual) Fusion Frames on Hilbert Space and Generalization of the Index Set
In this paper, we begin with the classical concept of tight frames in Hilbert spaces. First, we introduce the orthogonal projection P between H and θ(H) (the range of the frame transform θ associated with a traditional tight frame) and investigate the ...

Parallel Lattice Structure for Dual Windows Computation in Multiwindow Gabor Transform
The multiwindow discrete Gabor transform (M-DGT) is a useful time-frequency analysis tool for non-stationary signal processing. Given an arbitrary Gabor frame, a parallel lattice structure of block time-recursive algorithm for fast and efficient ...

Brentano's Dual‐Framing Theory of Consciousness [PDF]
Brentano's theory of consciousness has garnered a surprising amount of attention in recent philosophy of mind (Thomasson, Caston 2002, Hossack 2002, 2006, Kriegel 2003a, 2003b, 2009, Thomas, Smith, Zahavi 2004, Drummond 2006, Textor 2006,). Here I argue for a novel interpretation of Brentano's theory that casts it as more original than previously ...
