Dual-gap analysis for the Sudan
The study is an exercise in dual-gap analysis with reference to the Sudan. Investment and import requirements are estimated for the Six-Year Plan period 1977/1978–1982/ 1983 and are then compared with forecasts of savings and export earnings. The results are compared with the Plan projections of the dominant constraint on growth. The conclusion is that

An analysis of band gap characteristics of metamaterial plates with dual helix cells
Wide band gaps with the propagation of elastic waves at low-frequency are desirable for phononic crystals in many traditional and novel applications. Inspired by the natural helix, we designed a microstructure in a metamaterial plate with an antisymmetric dual helix as the basic local resonant cell.

The dual-step dual-team holographic method to fabricate square lattices is proposed. The effect of intensity threshold was analyzed by calculating the intensity spatial distribution. The photonic band gap properties of two-dimensional square lattice fabricated by holographic lithography are investigated numerically.

Quantitative analysis of dual whole-cell voltage-clamp determination of gap junctional conductance
The dual whole-cell voltage-clamp technique is used widely for determination of kinetics and conductance of gap junctions. The use of this technique may, however, occasion to considerable errors. We have analysed the errors in steady state junctional conductance measurements under different experimental conditions.

Analysis and Design of a Dual-Coupled LCC-S Compensated IPT System Considering Air Gap Variation
In inductive power transfer (IPT) systems, variations in the air gap can affect the self-inductance and mutual inductance of the loosely coupled transformer (LCT). As the resonant frequency is primarily determined by the self-inductance and the compensation capacitance, any variation in self-inductance can cause the resonant frequency to deviate from ...

Analysis of Waveguide Post Configurations: Part II--Dual-Gap Cases
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1977The analysis given in Part I is applied to two particular structures of general interest. The first is the two-post case, each post having one gap, and the second is the single-post with two gaps. The impedance or admittance matrix elements are used to construct the gap port networks which are then used to obtain the waveguide obstacle representations.
