A Dual-Input–Dual-Output Z-Source Inverter
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2010This paper presents a new z-source inverter with two AC outputs and two DC inputs. This inverter is based on the z-source inverter and nine-switch inverter. The presented inverter can control amplitude, frequency, and phase of both AC outputs and also control current of both DC inputs. Input dc voltages are boosted to the required level.

Dual‐band planar inverted‐F antenna
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2003AbstractA new kind of planar inverted F antenna (PIFA) is presented. To reduce the size of the structure, the resonator has been curled under itself. A capacitive load is added to decrease the frequencies of higher resonances. The result is the achievement of a dual‐band antenna. Theoretical results are computed by the software design package IE3D. The

Dual inverter for high efficiency PV systems
2009 IEEE International Electric Machines and Drives Conference, 2009In this paper, a new power converter topology for photovoltaic (PV) systems is proposed. This solution, based on a dual converter topology, allows to increase the performance of the PV systems in terms of efficiency with respect to a classical conversion system.

A novel dual-output four-leg inverter topology is proposed in this paper. The proposed inverter which is able to provide two three-phase voltage sets of independent magnitudes and frequencies is operationally equivalent to two four-leg inverters working independently though with a reduced number of semiconductor switches and hence gate drive and ...

A novel dual-frequency phase inverter
2016 IEEE International Conference on Ubiquitous Wireless Broadband (ICUWB), 2016In this letter, a novel dual-frequency phase inverter is proposed. The interdigital striplines and metallic vias are used to obtain 180 degree phase shift. The different length of the slotlines in the ground can obtain different operation frequencies. The structure of the phase inverter is simple and can be realized with ordinary microwave integrated ...

Stabilizing the dual inverted pendulum
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2010Abstract A classical control approach to stabilizing a dual inverted pendulum system with linear control is presented, along with measured results of the completed system. The emphasis of this work is on both the system's implementation details and its role in a feedback course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The control method includes

Multistep MPC of Dual Inverter for Switching Losses Optimization
2020 22nd European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications (EPE'20 ECCE Europe), 2020A novel control method based on model predictive control (MPC) dedicated to dual inverter (DI) control with minimization of switching losses is introduced. Optimal compromise between switching losses and current tracking error is reached by enlarging of the predicted steps count.

An Improved Cascaded Dual-Buck Inverter
2018 International Power Electronics Conference (IPEC-Niigata 2018 -ECCE Asia), 2018The cascaded H-bridge inverter plays an important role for achieving a high output voltage using standard low voltage rating semiconductor devices in dc-ac power conversion. It possesses shoot-through problem, and requires dead-time in switching signals to solve it. The dead-time reduces practical voltage gain and output waveforms quality.

Analysis of Dual Terminal Inverter Topologies
2018 4th International Conference on Electrical Energy Systems (ICEES), 2018In this study, the dual terminal inverter is used for controlling two independent AC loads. Conventionally, separate inverters are used to control these AC loads. This results in increasing the cost, size and volume of the system. To overcome these drawbacks, a dual terminal inverter topology with reduced switch count has been proposed in the ...

Dual‐Boost Inverter Without Leakage Current
International Journal of Circuit Theory and ApplicationsABSTRACTThe output AC side voltage of traditional full‐bridge inverter is lower than the input DC side voltage, which is limited in low‐voltage power generation. The conventional boost circuit and the modified boost circuit structure are effectively combined, thus putting forward a kind of no leakage current of single‐phase single‐stage booster ...
