Dual-Buck AC–AC Converter With Inverting and Non-Inverting Operations
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2018In this paper, a novel buck–boost ac–ac converter is proposed. The basic switching unit of the proposed converter is a unidirectional buck circuit; therefore, it has no shoot-through worries. It can achieve safe commutation without using RC snubbers or soft commutation strategies.

Dual Band Metamaterial Inverted-L Antenna
2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS), 2019A coplanar waveguide (CPW) planar inverted-L antenna (PILA) is proposed. It uses a Composite Right/Left Handed (CRLH) transmisssion line metamaterial loading in order to achieve a dual band operation. It is shown that this unit cell produces a new resonant mode at 1.8 GHz plus the folded monopole mode at 3.5 GHz.
