Dual-Camera Smooth Zoom on Mobile Phones
When zooming between dual cameras on a mobile, noticeable jumps in geometric content and image color occur in the preview, inevitably affecting the user's zoom experience. In this work, we introduce a new task, ie, dual-camera smooth zoom (DCSZ) to achieve a smooth zoom preview.

Seniority and Job Stability: A Quantile Regression Approach Using Matched Employer-Employee Data [PDF]
Job mobility and employment durations can be explained by different theoretical approaches, such as job matching or human capital theory or dual labor market approaches.

MoS2 Dual-Gate MOSFET with Atomic-Layer-Deposited Al2O3 as Top-Gate Dielectric
We demonstrate atomic-layer-deposited (ALD) high-k dielectric integration on two-dimensional (2D) layer-structured molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) crystals and MoS2 dual-gate n-channel MOSFETs with ALD Al2O3 as top-gate dielectric.

Mobility management of the 6G satellite IoT:challenges and key techniques
The satellite Internet of things (SIoT) is regarded as a feasible scheme to realize the vision of the “ubiquitous connection” in 6G.The relatively high-speed movement between the mobile satellite and the terminal causes service continuity problems. The ...

Gas Permeation through Glassy Polymer Membranes with High Glass Transition Temperature [PDF]
The sorption equilibria and permeation rates for carbon dioxide in such glassy polymer memrbanes with high glass-transition temperature as polyimide, polyetherimide, polysulfone and polyethersulfone membranes, were measured.

Can International Factor Mobility lessen Wage Inequality in a Dual Economy? [PDF]
We introduce international labor mobility in a three-sector general equilibrium model with rural-urban migration. We demonstrate that under some reasonable conditions an inflow of foreign skilled labor (capital) can reduce skilled-unskilled wage ...

Formation and Evolution of Singularities in Anisotropic Geometric Continua
Evolutionary PDEs for geometric order parameters that admit propagating singular solutions are introduced and discussed. These singular solutions arise as a result of the competition between nonlinear and nonlocal processes in various familiar vector ...
