Dual-mode polarization-sensitive tunable metalens enabling Bright-Field and Edge-Enhanced imaging
Metalenses exhibit significant potential in various fields due to their ability to access comprehensive, complex information. The ability to integrate multiple features into a single device, along with its compact and efficient design, allows for the ...

Role of Intrinsic Electron Trapping in Negative Charging of Amorphous Alumina
Intrinsic electron trapping in amorphous Al2O3 is examined using hybrid‐DFT models spanning a wide density range. Both spontaneous and thermally activated trapping are identified, with pronounced spontaneous localization in dense, partly crystallized structures.

Dual-port dual-polarization stacked triangular patch antennas
[[abstract]]This paper presents a design for stacked triangular patch antennas with two feeds for achieving dual-polarized operations. The top radiating element of the stacked structure is a single-feed, triangular, planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) with ...

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Optical Studies of Ordered Monomolecular Layers: Ab Initio Simulation and Experiment [PDF]
Due to the general interest on the alignment effect of the surface-bound ultrathin layers, this thesis presents research of the investigation of anchoring properties for liquid crystal (LC) molecules adsorbed on a solid substrate, using dual polarization

Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

Omnipolar Magnetic Field Detection by Superlattice‐Based Hall Sensor
Magnetic‐field‐induced electronic switching is demonstrated in unit‐cell‐engineered La0.7Sr0.3MnO3–BiFeO3 superlattices. Distinct substrate terminations modify magnetic and transport properties. Hall resistance measurements show omnipolar, hysteretic anomalous Hall switching above the Curie temperature, arising from Fe─Mn interfacial exchange, enabling
