Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Dual-polarization topological phases and phase transition in magnetic photonic crystalline insulator

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2021
Two-dimensional topological photonic crystals have rapidly emerged as a recent and fascinating branch of photonic research. However, most of them were limited to a specific type of polarization, TE or TM polarization.

Artificial Intelligence in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Enhanced Sea Ice Classification Method for Dual-Polarization TOPSAR via Limited Full-Polarimetric Knowledge Distillation

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Accurate large-scale sea ice classification is vital for Arctic maritime activities. However, this task faces a fundamental challenge. Operational surveillance is restricted to wide-swath dual-polarization data, which limits classification precision due ...

Numerical Analysis of a Dual Polarization Mode-Locked Laser with a Quarter Wave Plate [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Dynamical behaviors and frequency characteristics of an active mode-locked laser with a quarter wave plate (QWP) are numerically studied by using a set pf vectorial laser equation.

Planar Solid‐State Nanopores Toward Scalable Nanofluidic Integration Based on CMOS Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We present a scalable silicon‐based fabrication strategy for planar solid‐state nanopores to enable their integration with complex nanofluidic systems. Prototype devices demonstrate normal voltage‐current characteristics, good noise performance, and appreciable streaming currents. Our CMOS‐compatible fabrication process offers precise geometric control

Dual-Polarization Radar Deception Jamming Method Based on Joint Fast-Slow-Time Polarization Modulation

open access: yesRemote Sensing
To address the vulnerability of single-polarization deception jamming and simply modulated dual-polarization jamming to discrimination by dual-polarization radars, this paper proposes a deception jamming method based on joint fast–slow-time polarization ...

Tailored Hierarchical Porous Copper Architectures via Three Dimensional Printing and Pressure‐less Sintering for Next‐Generation Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Incorporation of Selenium into Sol–Gel‐Derived Bioactive Glass: Influence on Glass Structure, Bioactivity, and its Selective Cytotoxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Selenium was incorporated into a sol–gel‐derived bioactive glass to enable sustained therapeutic ion release. The selenium‐containing glass preserved bioactivity while selectively inducing cytotoxicity in osteosarcoma cells and maintaining osteoblastic viability.
