Investigation of the equivalent circuit parameters and design of a dual polarised dual frequency aperture coupled microstrip antenna

open access: yes, 2013
This paper presents a simplified approach to the design of a single feed dual polarised, dual frequency (1.9 and 2.4 GHz) aperture coupled microstrip antenna. Using simulation and practical investigation, the coupling between the microstrip feed line and

Dual-comb femtosecond solid-state laser with inherent polarization-multiplexing

open access: yes, 2020
Dual-comb spectroscopy is a rapidly developing technique enabling ultraprecise broadband optical diagnostics of atoms and molecules. This powerful tool typically requires two phase-locked femtosecond lasers, yet it has been shown that it can be realized ...

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Design Methodology for Wideband Sinuous Antennas With Radially Varying Flare Angle for Enhanced Versatility

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper presents a systematic design methodology for wideband sinuous antennas with a radially varying flare angle $\alpha $ , the angular width of the sinuous arm, and a key parameter governing the antenna’s gain and size, with the goal of ...

Correction to “Geometrical Structure Classification of Target HRRP Scattering Centers Based on Dual Polarimetric $H / \alpha$ Features”

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In the published version of our paper, we had mixed up the results when we plotted the graphs in Table 2. The correct graphs of Table 2 are given in this correction. The results and conclusion of our paper remain the same.

Dual-polarization radar products for biological applications

open access: yes, 2016
The upgrade of the national network of next-generation weather surveillance radars (NEXRAD) in the United States to dual polarizations has been completed, providing three additional routine data products: total differential phase (psi(DP)), differential ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

A Low-Cost Dual-Frequency Dual-Polarized Antenna Array with High Gain

open access: yesMicromachines
A high-gain microstrip antenna array is proposed. The dual-frequency and dual-polarization characteristics of the array allow a satellite communication system to transmit and receive signals with a single antenna.

Geometrical Structure Classification of Target HRRP Scattering Centers Based on Dual Polarimetric $H/\alpha$ Features

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Polarimetric high resolution range profile (HRRP) contains the geometrical structural information along radar line-of-sight and has shown great potentials in target recognition. In existing researches, H/α decomposition has been applied to exploit
