A BEM formulation for damage by the Dual Reciprocity Approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The Dual Reciprocity Method was introduced to avoid the time consuming evaluation of the domain integrals involved for elastostatics with body forces and for elastodynamic problems. The procedure was then extended to diffusion problems and plasticity.

Dual reciprocity boundary element method solution of natural convection in Darcy -Brinkman porous media [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This paper describes the solution of a steady natural convection problem in porous media by the dual reciprocity boundary element method. The boundary element method for the coupled set of mass, momentum, and energy equations in two-dimensions is ...

Synthesis of AgBiS2 and AgInS2 Based on Formation Energies in Sulfur‐Rich Reducing Flame

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐surface‐area AgInS2 and AgBiS2 nanoparticles were synthesized via enclosed flame spray pyrolysis by tuning flame conditions and formation energies to guide phase formation. Flame parameters were tuned to suppress oxides and enable pure sulfide phase growth.

Cellular Responses to Mechanical Cues Across Scales: From Fundamental Insights to Translational Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Matric Flux Potential in Time Independent Infiltration Problems from a Single Triangular and a Trapezoidal Irrigation Channel

open access: yesJTAM (Jurnal Teori dan Aplikasi Matematika)
In this paper, steady infiltration problems into a homogeneous soil from a single triangular and trapezoidal irrigation channel are considered. The governing equation is Richard's equation that represents the movement of water in unsaturated soil.

A dual-reciprocity boundary element method for a class of elliptic boundary value problems for non-homogenous anisotropic media [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
A dual-reciprocity boundary element method is proposed for the numerical solution of a two-dimensional boundary value problem (BVP) governed by an elliptic partial differential equation with variable coefficients.

Nonlinear heat equation for nonhomogeneous anisotropic materials: A dual-reciprocity boundary element solution [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A dual‐reciprocity boundary element method is presented for the numerical solution of initial‐boundary value problems governed by a nonlinear partial differential equation for heat conduction in nonhomogeneous anisotropic materials.

Mixed‐Metal Promotion in a Manganese‐Molybdenum Oxynitride as Catalyst to Integrate C─C and C─N Coupling Reactions for the Direct Synthesis of Acetonitrile from Syngas and Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.
