A numerical solution for advection‐diffusion equation using dual reciprocity method
Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations, 2012AbstractThis article describes a numerical method based on the boundary integral equation and dual reciprocity method(DRM) for solving the one‐dimensional advection‐diffusion equations. The concept of DRM is used to convert the domain integral to the boundary that leads to an integration free method.

Trefftz‐based dual reciprocity method for hyperbolic boundary value problems
International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 2015SummaryA new dual reciprocity‐type approach to approximating the solution of non‐homogeneous hyperbolic boundary value problems is presented in this paper. Typical variants of the dual reciprocity method obtain approximate particular solutions of boundary value problems in two steps.

The authors present a new technique for the generation of error equi-distributing meshes that satisfy both local quasi-uniformity and a minimal mesh spacing. It is done for the 1D case and then extended to 2D by generalizing tensor product methods. A better accuracy in approximation using interpolatory radial basis functions was achieved.

This consistent paper presents a method for the general 2D and 3D scattered data interpolation problem. To solve these problems a biharmonic-type method is presented. The method does not require to solve large systems. This reduces the computational cost. Numerical examples are included and analysed statistically.

Effluent Transport on the Solent by the Boundary Element Dual Reciprocity Method
1992The Dual Reciprocity Method is a well established technique for taking domain integrals to the boundary in Boundary Element analysis. It has been successfully applied to Diffusion Convection analysis on rectangular channels in a series of recent papers.
