Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. We explore the relationship between complexity and duality in quantum systems, focusing on how local and non-local operators evolve under time evolution. We find that non-local operators, which are dual to local operators under specific mappings, exhibit

On Global Analysis of Duality Maps
A global analysis of duality transformations is presented. It is shown that duality between quantum field theories exists only when the geometrical structure of the quantum configuration spaces of the theories comply with certain precise conditions. Applications to S-dual actions and to T duality of string theories and D-branes are briefly discussed. It

Product spaces generated by bilinear maps and duality [PDF]
We analyze a definition of product of Banach spaces that is naturally associated by duality with an abstract notion of space of multiplication operators. This dual relation allows to understand several constructions coming from different fields of the functional analysis, that can be seen as instances of the abstract one when a particular product is ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Zero-energy bound states of N=4 SYM on T^3: S-duality and the mapping class group
We continue our studies of the low-energy spectrum of N = 4 super-Yang-Mills theory on a spatial three-torus. In two previous papers, we computed the spectrum of normalizable zero-energy states for all choices of gauge group and all values of the ...

A D-induced duality and its applications
This paper attempts to extend the notion of duality for convex cones, by basing it on a predescribed conic ordering and a fixed bilinear mapping. This is an extension of the standard definition of dual cones, in the sense that the nonnegativity of the ...
