We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

One-loop monodromy relations on single cuts
The discovery of colour-kinematic duality has led to significant progress in the computation of scattering amplitudes in quantum field theories. At tree level, the origin of the duality can be traced back to the monodromies of open-string amplitudes ...

Super-duality and necessary optimality conditions of order "infinity" in optimal control theory
We systematically introduce an approach to the analysis and (numerical) solution of a broad class of nonlinear unconstrained optimal control problems, involving ordinary and distributed systems. Our approach relies on exact representations of the increments of the objective functional, drawing inspiration from the classical Weierstrass formula in ...

Multiobjective Lagrangian duality for portfolio optimization with risk measures [PDF]
In this paper we present an application for a multiobjective optimization problem. The objective functions of the primal problem are the risk and the expected pain associated to a portfolio vector. Then, we present a Lagrangian dual problem for it.

Duality of Codes over Non-unital Rings of Order Four
International audienceIn this paper, we present a basic theory of the duality of linear codes over three of the non-unital rings of order four; namely I, E , and H as denoted in (Fine, 1993).

Do not let thermal drift and instrument artifacts deceive high‐temperature nanoindentation results. We compare classical Oliver–Pharr and automatic image recognition analyses across steels and a Ni alloy to quantify these effects. Accounting for artifacts reveals systematic softening with temperature, while Cr and Ni additions boost resistance ...

From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

On quantum Poisson-Lie T-duality of WZNW models
We study Poisson-Lie T-duality of the Wess-Zumino-Novikov-Witten (WZNW) models which are obtained from a class of Drinfel’d doubles and its generalization.

Empirical properties of duality theory [PDF]
This research examines selected empirical properties of duality relationships. Monte Carlo experiments indicate that Hessian matrices estimated from the normalised unrestricted profit, restricted profit and production functions yield conflicting results ...

This review highlights advances in lightweight, lead‐free polymer nanocomposites for diagnostic X‐ray shielding. By linking filler chemistry, dispersion, architecture, and photon interaction mechanisms, it establishes structure–performance relationships guiding material design.
