Duddingtonia flagrans: a promising biocontrol agent for gastrointestinal nematodes
Controlling gastrointestinal nematodes (GIN) challenges owners of small ruminants with access to pastures. Biocontrol using the nematophagous fungus Duddingtonia flagrans is expected to complement existing alternatives for controlling GIN in grazing ...

Improved method for Duddingtonia flagrans chlamydospores production for livestock use
Duddingtonia flagrans is a nematode-trapping fungus responsible for attacking larval stages of helminthes in pasture. D. flagrans chlamydospores were produced using a two-step liquid/solid culture system. The inoculum grown in liquid medium was transferred to a rice substrate and kept at room temperature for 30 days.

Survey of nematophagous fungi in South Africa : research communication
Three hundred and eighty-four samples of leaf litter, soil, faeces from domestic and game animals, compost and aqueous cultures of infective nematode larvae contaminated with unidentified fungi were plated out on water agar, baited with pure infective ...

This study was aimed to evaluate the in vitro lethal activity of the nematophagous fungi Clonostachys rosea against 5 nematodes species belonging to different taxa. Two groups of 35 Petri dishes (PD) each were divided into 5 series of 7 (PD). Group 1 (series 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) contained only water agar; meanwhile group 2 plates (series 6, 7, 8, 9, and ...
