AbstractThe adiabatic temperature rise in catalytic pellets is predicted from a modified version of the Prater equation. Onsager reciprocal relations for coupled heat and mass transfer are violated in an analysis of thermal diffusion in macroporous catalysts with exothermic chemical reaction when Dufour conduction (i.e., the diffusion‐thermo effect) is

Three dimensional boundary layer flow of a viscoelastic nanofluid with Soret and Dufour effects
The present research focuses on the three-dimensional flow of viscoelastic fluid in the presence of Soret and Dufour effects. Effects of thermophoresis and Brownian motion are taken into account.

Transport in Porous Media, 2007
An analysis is presented to investigate the effects of temperature-dependent viscosity, thermal dispersion, Soret number and Dufour number on non-Darcy MHD free convective heat and mass transfer of a viscous, incompressible and electrically conducting fluid past a vertical isothermal surface embedded in a saturated porous medium.
